The Judge Lisa Ortega had to force SHHA's attorney and Phil K. to agree to the terms set by Jim Stewart, the President. Meaning, the attorney, along with Phil put their own agreement together and had no intention to honor the President's agreement represented SHHA. Huh?
Settlement - SHHA paid Gilbert Morales $60,000 dollars.
Settlement - Gilbert Morales keeps his shed
Settlement - Gilbert Morales gets an apology from SHHA. SHHA would only agree to say that SHHA should have done things differently.
Settlement - This is open to the public. SHHA tried to hold this in non-disclosure because they don't want you to know.

The case started in 2023. SHHA sued CJ for renting house out 2714 Tramway.
This house in under Unit 27B covenants.
The covenants has an amendment that supposedly restricted short-term rentals.
The covenant is illegal in its language because it violates the Human Rights Acts.
The Judge cannot rule against the Human Rts Act, and therefore, the ruling was to grant the Defendant it's right.
SHHA:
SHHA has no authority to sue homeowners, the complainant should be revealed
SHHA cannot rewrite covenants but will try to do this behind the Unit 27B permission or knowledge
Other covenants adopted this language and any case will not hold up in Court.

This shows how our SHHA Board does not understand their limits. They are working to change this for the Unit 27B and overreaching in their authority. This is not initiated by the Unit lot owners.
